Cor Blimey, Its All Gone All Quiet On The Western Front.

It was Tuesday. A day like any other day. Except that on this Tuesday, Everyone had gone quiet. The silence was alarming, and not a little disquieting. The scripture came to Julian's mind,

'When my disquieting thoughts became many inside of me, Your own consolations began to fondle my soul'.

Where was that scripture? She looked up 'disquieting' in the back of the bible and found the reference to be Psalms 94:19. It just showed that the thought in, was it James?, about accepting the implanting of the word with mildness, and that it was able to save your soul, had merit. Was it James? She had to find out. Yes. James 1:21,

'Hence, put away all filthiness and that superfluous thing, badness, and accept with mildness the implanting of the word which is able to save your souls'. Lovely stuff.

Jehovah always came through when the chips were down. It seemed that Some had Thought that Jehovah's name had been bandied about, and treated less than respectfully. Considering that we were all in this together, as his Witnesses, United in Publishing the Sanctification of that Name, that was not going to do. We all had to lift our games.

Let the Games Begin?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Julian was in trouble with the family, Again, for opening her Big Mouth about Events from the past. It was an interesting anomaly. On the one hand, one didn't Air One's Dirty Linen in Public, which was Understood, and Went Without saying. On the Other Hand, and this was the bit that Oomsy and Doomsy didn't quite follow, this was Interesting Stuff, and Stories Were Made Of This Stuff.

Isn't life about the Stories?

Julian was confused, just like Oomsy.

Doomsy, meanwhile, just wanted to Hit Out. He had almost smashed his van up. Fortunately for Julian, she was out of range. Oomsy also would have been interested to know that Julian Fairfax Mayhem came first. That Julian was born after Julian Fairfax Mayhem was born. Oomsy didn't know that. She had never really understood, or been interested in Julian. She believed that paying a lot of money for a good education, and a pony should have been enough. Juian had to admit that both the education, and the Incredible Pony, called Duncan, were very much appreciated. She had tried to show this in the past with good bottles of Scotch and Nice dinners, and much money spent on travelling, but it didn't seem to have Hit the Spot. Never Mind. They were poles apart, Oomsy and Julian, but were united by blood. They loved each other. It was enough.

Sheesh foof Pshaw.
