Hotel Reservations. An Offer To Good To Refuse.

It had been a hard day in court. The case hadn't been heard until just before 1 pm, and people were getting tetchy. They listened to men and women admit to growing small amounts of cannabis in the garden.
"The goats got into the shed and spread the seeds around." said one. The fact that she had tied one of them down with a coat hanger gave the magistrate pause. "It doesn't look so good." she said. "It sounds a bit like Jack and the Beanstalk."
"I found it and put it in a flowerpot, but then didn't tend it." said another. "The police knew it was in a terrible state."
"I take it for pain." Said a man with a particularly sharp nose. "It was an accident that they came up in the garden."
"It isn't up to you to take responsibility for your own pain", said the magistrate. He had been to court a number of times before, and wasn't taking any notice of being slapped on the wrist. He was a shady character, who bridled at having the light shone upon his double dealings. He sidled out of the court as soon as he was given leave.
"You're excused". The magistrate told them, and most of them scuttled out.
One man wearing shorts and work boots was frightened for his life because of his ex-girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Ulrich had just finished jury duty. The case was about a 15 yr old who had been molested by her father, but there was no proof, as there often isn't in cases like this. Who thinks to turn the video camera on? Her name was similiar to the name of his girl, and he found that disturbing.
It was time for Hotel Reservations. The Hitlers, the Goodness' and the Mayhems were off to relax. No-one could leave until 3 pm, and it was a 2 - 3 hour drive, so the vote was to have dinner out. Everyone was looking forward to it. They hadn't had to look up any websites for this one as they had been offered a deal on the phone. $150 for three nights, instead of one night.
Julian had a quick surf, nevertheless. She checked out Sydney hotels, for when they travelled down in May to wave goodbye to the Mudbilly's and the Mudbelly's. They were off to Ireland. They hadn't looked at hotel reservations either.
