In one particular skit, the ball point pen has been invented, and the inventors lived in a lovely, big, castle of a house with gardeners and chauffeurs and housemaids. In other words, they were very rich.

They are also puzzled because their idea for a ball point pen has some how leaked out into the outside world, and they are trying to figure it out.
